I don't like Santiago, I
mean I don't hate the city but I like the sea the sun and the beach so Santiago
it's not for me. If i have t chose one thing that I like here It would be that
Santiago has everything, hospitals, schools, lots of activities during the
weekend and you cannot find that things in other cities (wich its the
organization of this country´s fault). I was born here so Im used to the
fact of having everything around. I dislike a lot the people here, always in a
rush, always angry with everyone. I lived in Australia in a little island
called Manly beach, there, it´s complete the opposite, the people it´s so nice,
always worried, and the rhythm of life there it´s really slow, so when I came
back from Manly, the attitude of Santiaguinos really annoyed
me.
I think that maybe if the
state puts some green areas around Santiago, people will learn about how to use
the space as a recreational area and also improve the rhythm of life problem.
If I have to give
an advice about a place to a visitor, I'd probably say Bellas
Artes, you can go to the museum there, to the park, to Lastarrias and then eat
the best sushi in town (and guess what, they have Junaeb)
Great to live in an Island!! I would like to have that experience
